No smoking of any kind in the house. Feel free to smoke outside the house, but please be mindful of the neighbors and their children. All cigarette butts should be disposed of properly in the trash.

No fires in the fireplace or wood stove.

To turn on the water heater, unlock the basement door in the back hallway. Bring your phone flashlight! Set the water heater to boost. Please turn it off on your way out.

Some of the electrical work is funky. Do not run the washing machine at the same time as the dishwasher, as you’ll blow a fuse.

In order to keep this house affordable for our friends and family, we do not have a cleaning service or fee. As such, all dishes must be clean (in dishwasher is fine) and all sheets and towels must be washed and folded and placed on beds.

Pack it in and pack it out. We know this isn’t camping, but the house doesn’t have garbage service right now. Please bring your trash and recycling home with you.

Please sweep or vacuum the floors before you leave. Sand is Sisyphean!
